Rev. Barbara Prose
Barbara came to All Souls after serving as ministerial intern at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula in Carmel, California. Originally from Boston, MA, Barbara, her husband, and two daughters lived in Maine for over 20 years where she ran her own homebirth midwifery practice.
After moving to the coastal town of Boothbay Harbor in 1999, she and her family began attending the Midcoast Unitarian Universalist Fellowship where she served as Director of Religious Education and Minister of Music.
Barbara received her Masters of Divinity from Bangor Theological Seminary in 2009, the same year she received the Tsubaki Grand Shrine Scholarship for interfaith studies. Winner of the Social Justice Sermon award on immigration, Barbara was invited to preach at General Assembly in Tucson, AZ in 2013.
Barbara was hired as an All Souls minister in 2011. Since 2014 she has served as Executive Director of Ministry.
